Black history month highlight
This Black history month, Boundless Brilliance would like to acknowledge Dr. Janet Rita Emerson Bashen for her contributions to the STEM field. Dr. Emerson Bashen is an Ohio native, entrepreneur, business consultant, software engineer, and inventor. She is best known for patenting a web-based EEO software application called LinkLine, now known as Nalikah, to assist with equal employment opportunity investigations and claims tracking.
Dr. Janet Emerson Bashen is the founder, President, and CEO of Bashen Corporation, a leading human resources consulting firm.
Her invention relates to our vision of “a future of STEM leadership that is as diverse as the world in which we live” by providing the foundation for the tools to track progress in workplace equity and representation.
STEM Initiative for Special Needs Learners
We are excited to share the latest update about our Initiative for Special Needs Learners launched in the Fall of 2022. We’ve garnered feedback and insights from parents, caregivers, and families of special needs learners through a survey and an engaging focus group discussion, as well as completed a literature review, and will be releasing key findings from that research in a white paper.
The initiative launched aligns with Boundless Brilliance’s goal of helping to ensure that STEM becomes more accessible and inclusive. The main objective of the evidence-based initiative is to modify our curriculum to include lessons and activities that meet the needs of neurodiverse and other special needs learners.
If you are interested in learning more about the initiative, please contact us at info@boundlessbrilliance.org
