EMPOWERING ACTIVITY

In a single beehive, there can be 20,000 to 80,000 bees living there. Each bee contributes to the hive in its own way, and the bees work together as a group. People also contribute to their communities in unique ways. Maybe you contribute to your family by doing the dishes, or maybe you contribute to school by answering questions in class.

Talk with your classmates and write down on your own how you contribute to your community.

Click on the worksheet to print, or draw on your own paper.

Use the space on the worksheet to write down your response.

Everyone serves a valued purpose in their communities, and in talking with others, we are able to both give and receive positive affirmations.

Showing that everyone’s unique contributions are appreciated spreads positivity and creates a more understanding and unified environment.
