Miriam (Holzman) Sharman – Moderator

Business Enablement, Digital Media Supply Chain

As a member of the Digital Media Supply Chain team at SPE, Miriam is responsible for supporting  technology, and process transformations around how SPE acquires, manages, and delivers content.  Miriam works closely with the technology and business teams to ensure a deep understanding of the impact of process change on the business, ensuring the voice of the customer is communicated to product owners.

Prior to her time at Sony, Miriam spent two decades at 20th Century Fox, supporting early mobile and digital initiatives, including American Idol integrations and preloading Avatar on the inaugural Samsung Galaxy phone. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. In her spare time, she enjoys being an unpaid Uber driver for her 15-year-old twins and not cooking dinner. 


April Schneider – Panelist 

Executive Director IT, Global Television Distribution,  Sony Pictures Entertainment 

As an owner of Sony Pictures' Television Sales and Distribution application, April manages large teams with 40+ resources and directs the team in executing multiple back-to-back large-scale projects.  In this current role, April is frequently involved in identifying, interviewing, and hiring both entry-level and experienced hires for her team.

Prior to her 15 years at Sony Pictures, April worked in the consulting industry for both Deloitte and Ernst & Young. She received her MBA at the University of Notre Dame & her undergrad at the University of Southern California. She is currently serving on the Board for Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) as well as the Board for the University of Notre Dame's MBA program. In her free time, she enjoys cuddling her dog and watching her kids' soccer games & swim team events.


Rob Maxwell – Panelist

Rob has designed, managed, and delivered both commercial and corporate software and hardware systems during his career. He has served as CTO, Inventor, and Chief Architect in several product companies and has been in the Media & Entertainment business in various system leadership roles for 12 years at Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. He enjoys leading teams to build practical and innovative systems that yield business results. He also enjoys mentoring employees and recruits to give them the benefits of his experience as they build their careers.

Megan Davis- Recruiter, Global Talent Acquisition

Megan leads entry-level recruitment efforts across Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, Television, and Corporate groups. Prior to Sony Pictures Entertainment, she held a background in tech recruiting, where she managed recruitment for Fortune 500 companies such as Sony Pictures & The Walt Disney Company. Megan graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's in Sociology that she initially used in the non-profit space at the start of her career. Now she uses her degree and industry knowledge to hire diverse candidates who come from all backgrounds into the entertainment field. 

As an Entry-Level Recruiter, she enjoys building out teams with passionate, bright-eyed, fresh talent looking to start their careers in entertainment. In her free time, she enjoys going to music festivals, binging cheesy reality tv shows, and snuggling with her cat Penny.
