I am a senior at Occidental College, majoring in Biology with a minor in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. I have been a part of Boundless Brilliance for the past three years, as a presentations team member, VP of Presentations, and a Co-President this year! Outside of Boundless Brilliance, I love to rock climb, hike, and go to concerts around LA.

Hi! My name is Jade, and I am a senior at Occidental majoring in Biochemistry. I have been a member of Boundless Brilliance since my freshman year; I began my BB journey as a member of the Presentations team, and last year I served as an Outreach Coordinator. This year, I am excited and honored to be a co-President along with Emma and Stephanie! Outside of BB, I am a member of Occidental’s Cross Country and Track teams, an AMP facilitator, and a STEM tutor through Learn To Be. One fun fact about me is that I have a black lab puppy, Archie. I can’t wait to have a Brilliant year :)

Hi! I’m Stephanie Xiloj, a senior Biochemistry major and Latino/a & Latin American Studies minor. This is my third year with Boundless Brilliance, and I’m excited to serve as one of the Co-Presidents! Outside of BB, I also serve as a Biology Equity Action Representative and do research in Professor Okumura’s Pathogenesis lab.

VP of Presentations:

Emily gutstein

Hi, my name is Emily Gutstein and I am a Cognitive Science major on the pre-med track! On campus I'm also a member of the women's lacrosse team and a student rep for Tiger Town. In my free time I like to go hiking and try new cafes near campus. During my time at Boundless Brilliance, I have always been a member of the presentations team and this will be my first year on the E-Board.

I joined Boundless Brilliance last year and I am currently the vice president of Outreach! I am also involved as the secretary for Occidental’s bio club, a student teachers assistant at Occidental’s child development center, and a student grader for calc 1! One of my passions is teaching and working with kids! I am so thankful to be a part of Boundless Brilliance and look forward to its future events and growth!

Hi! My name is Prisha and I’m a sophomore biology major and neuroscience minor on the pre-med track. This is my second year with Boundless Brilliance and the outreach team! I look forward to planning upcoming events this year, including a unique career fair and semi-annual STEM fairs! Besides BB, I enjoy being a part of Oxy’s Glee Club, working in the music department, and attending concerts around LA.

International Girls DAy At San Pascual Elementary

“A round of applause to Sydney and Evelyn for a wonderful presentation today! Starting with photos of them as littles (which our girls could relate to) and their journey growing up and being at college, helped our students to imagine themselves as college students one day - at least 9-10 years from now!

We truly appreciated the time Sydney and Evelyn took to create a well-tailored slide deck and to visit us at school. They made a really positive impression on our students!”
